Understanding drafts & daily feeds

When your CRM connects to The Latest Homes, stock arrives into Property Studio as drafts first. Nothing goes public until you (or TLH with you) publish. This page explains what happens each day.

If you can already see draft listings on your dashboard, your feed is working. Drafts are intentional — they protect presentation quality, give you a chance to check photos and copy, and keep withdrawn or sold stock from appearing on the live site by mistake.
What happens

From your CRM to The Latest Homes

1
Your CRM sends (or TLH pulls) stock

Street, Alto/Vebra, Rex and similar systems send listing updates on a schedule — often daily, or when something changes. Street can also be pulled by TLH on a regular sync.

2
TLH maps the feed into Property Studio

Address, price, beds/baths, description, photos, floorplans and EPCs are matched into the TLH listing format and assigned to your agency profile.

3
Listings land as Draft

New instructions open as Draft so you can review before they appear on search, map, or your public agent profile. They are not live yet.

4
You preview, then publish

Open a draft in Property Studio, check the preview, then set publication status to Published when you’re happy. Available sales and lettings then show on The Latest Homes.

5
Later feeds keep published stock in sync

Once a listing is Published, later feed updates usually keep it Published (price, status, photos). Fully sold or withdrawn stock is pulled back to Draft / out of open-market view.

Rule of thumb: Draft = private in Studio. Published = live on The Latest Homes (subject to status such as Available, Under Offer, SSTC, Let Agreed).
Daily rhythm

What “daily feed” means

  • Your CRM (or TLH’s Street sync) refreshes stock on a schedule.
  • New instructions appear as new drafts for review.
  • Price and status changes update existing Studio records.
  • You do not need to re-upload photos manually when the feed already includes them.
  • You still control when something goes public — publish when ready.
File feeds (Alto/Vebra, Rex BLM/ZIP) are checked regularly through the day. Street API agencies sync on a set schedule (currently every few hours).
Your checklist

When drafts first appear

  1. Open Draft Listings on your dashboard.
  2. Spot-check a few properties: photos, price, beds, description.
  3. Use Preview before publishing.
  4. Publish Available stock you’re happy with.
  5. Leave incomplete or odd imports as Draft and tell TLH if something looks wrong.
Statuses

What we import

  • Available / For Sale / To Let — ready to publish after review.
  • Under Offer, SSTC, Let Agreed — kept for Studio and pipeline visibility.
  • Sold / Withdrawn — not pushed live; existing live stock is taken out of open market.

If a status looks wrong after a feed, tell TLH — we can check the CRM mapping for your office.
