PROPERTY STUDIO · EVERY TWO WEEKS

Keep your office & listings fresh

A short reminder pass for current agents. Every fortnight, spend 15–20 minutes on profile details and live stock — contact accuracy, presentation polish, price checks, and small updates that keep The Latest Homes looking premium for your buyers.

Feeds and uploads do a lot of the heavy lifting — but they don’t catch everything. Wrong phone numbers, stale hero photos, missing room names, typos, outdated prices, or blank what3words all weaken a listing. Use this page as your recurring checklist. Mark nothing; just work through it on the dashboard every two weeks.
Significant updates

What’s new on TLH

  • Google Play — TLH Buyer app is live. Buyers can search homes, save favourites and follow local market insight. Share the app with clients: tlhportal.co.uk/android.
  • iOS Buyer app — launching shortly. An Apple App Store release is coming next. We’ll confirm when it’s ready to share with your buyers.
  • Property Studio continues to improve presentation tools (hero media, room labels, what3words, Facebook share previews). A fortnightly refresh keeps your stock using them well.
Office & people

Profile & contact details

Buyers and partners see this on Find an Agent and your public profile. Check it every fortnight.

  • Main contact name is the right person for enquiries
  • Public telephone number is current (and matches branch phones if you have several offices)
  • Public / branch emails are monitored — no old personal addresses
  • Who to contact for sales vs lettings is clear in branch lines or profile copy
  • Coverage areas and towns still match where you actually instruct
  • Social links: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn — working URLs, no broken pages
  • Agency logo and profile description look current (no outdated BETA or launch wording unless intended)
Presentation

Listing polish (every 2 weeks)

Pick a handful of live listings — or work through Available / To Let stock — and refresh presentation.

  • Rotate the hero image where photos allow — a fresh lead image every couple of weeks keeps cards feeling current
  • Name rooms / features on gallery images (Kitchen, Master bedroom, Garden, EPC…) so buyers scan faster
  • Reorder the gallery so the best 8–12 images lead; remove weak or duplicate shots
  • Proofread title, description and key features for typos and awkward CRM paste text
  • Confirm beds, baths, receptions and property type still match the instruction
  • Add or refresh what3words (Property Studio can fetch from address / coordinates)
  • Floorplans, EPCs and brochures still attached and opening correctly
Tip: change the hero, save as draft, preview the public page, then publish again when you’re happy.
Accuracy

Price, status & feed catch-ups

Uploads and CRM feeds can lag. Spot-check so TLH doesn’t show yesterday’s price or the wrong status.

  • Sale / rent price matches your CRM or latest instruction
  • Status is right: Available, Under Offer, SSTC, Let Agreed, Withdrawn, Sold
  • New instructions that landed as Draft have been reviewed (don’t leave good stock unpublished by accident)
  • Withdrawn / sold stock is not still showing as Available on TLH
  • Lettings: PCM / rent period and furnished notes still correct
If a feed repeatedly misses a price or status change, email info@thelatesthomes.co.uk with the property reference — we’ll check the mapping.
Share & publish

Facebook, draft, then publish

  • After editing a listing, use Save (keep it as Draft while you check)
  • Use Preview on the public property page before publishing
  • When sharing to Facebook, use Property Studio’s Refresh FB Preview so Facebook scrapes the latest image and title (not an old cache)
  • Only set Published when copy, photos, price and status are correct
  • Share the live tlhportal.co.uk property link — not a Studio draft URL
Facebook often keeps an old preview until you refresh the scrape. If a share looks wrong, refresh FB Preview in Studio, wait a moment, then share again.
Suggested rhythm

A simple fortnightly pass

  1. 5 minutes — office: phones, contact names, social links on your public profile.
  2. 10 minutes — stock: open Available / To Let listings; check price & status against your CRM.
  3. 10 minutes — presentation: rotate a few heroes, name rooms, fix typos, add what3words where missing.
  4. Before go-live: save draft → preview → refresh FB scrape if sharing → publish.
Consistency beats perfection. A short pass every two weeks keeps your TLH presence sharper than a big tidy-up once a quarter.
